About Uzoma Sudarma Law

I am a proud Houstonian, born and raised in Southwest Alief. My parents are Nigerian immigrants who came to America determined to build a better life for themselves and for their family. Their sacrifice and determination instilled in me the discipline to work hard and a deep commitment to serving others with excellence.

After undergrad, I began my career in the Oil & Gas industry working in logistics and procurement, where I enhanced my understanding of operational and supply chain challenges that intersect with legal issues.

I built my legal career representing clients in complex business matters with experience in commercial real estate development, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. My legal background also includes representing clients in commercial and business litigation matters. This experience has sharpened my ability to think strategically, solve problems efficiently, and protect my clients’ interests.

That same focus and advocacy now drives my dedication to serving a wide range of clients—from individuals and families who have been seriously injured due to someone else’s negligence, to those navigating complex business matters—fighting to ensure each client receives the justice and counsel they deserve.

Outside of the office, my wife and I are the proud and blessed parents of two beautiful girls.

I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, and spent my early childhood in Portland, Oregon before moving to Houston, and spending the remainder of my childhood in Sugar Land, Texas. My mother worked in the local elementary school, and my father served as a pastor—two callings that taught me the importance of compassion, integrity, and service.

After graduating from Houston Baptist University, I started out in the Oil & Gas industry and then spent time as a high school teacher. Those years taught me the value of perseverance and the impact of serving others, which ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in law. Since earning my law degree, my focus has been on helping the people and community around me—whether guiding families as they plan for the future, supporting those dealing with the loss of a loved one, or fighting for the rights of those who've been injured. My work has always centered on people first.

Outside of work, I'm married to the love of my life, Katherine. We share our home with our Shih-Tzu, Rex. I am a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rosenberg, and play drums with the praise team.
